Multi-member holding company

JUPITERBRAIN

Structure is the first deliverable.

Founded as a full-service digital agency. Now a holding company providing strategic oversight and shared services to a small group of operating entities — the companies that carry out the work JUPITER BRAIN once delivered directly.

Structure

JUPITER BRAIN no longer takes the work. It holds the companies that do, and stands behind them.

Formerly

JUPITER BRAIN was founded as an agency — a group of experienced professionals working across web design and development, user experience and interactive design, rich internet applications, accessibility and usability, high-availability deployment, and technology integration.

Client work ran end to end, from the first pitch through contract, design, production, development, deployment, and years of support after launch.

Presently

JUPITER BRAIN is a multi-member holding company. Its partners provide strategic oversight and shared services to affiliated operating entities, and advise them as they turn complicated problems into systems that scale and stay maintainable.

The disciplines did not go anywhere. They moved into specialized companies, each accountable for its own delivery.

What the
parent does

Three things, held once at the top rather than rebuilt inside every company.

Governance

Strategic oversight

Positioning, long-range planning, and the decisions that outlast any single engagement — so operating teams can keep their attention on delivery.

Operations

Shared services

Contracting, finance, and administrative infrastructure maintained at the holding level and made available to each entity.

Counsel

Advisory

Direct guidance on scope, architecture, and delivery risk, from people who have carried projects from pitch through long-term support.

Operating
entities

Each entity is independently operated and accountable for its own client relationships. JUPITER BRAIN holds and advises; it does not deliver.

I

Apex Development Group

Software & infrastructure

Application development, hosting, and long-term maintenance for organizations whose systems have to stay up, stay current, and stay supportable long after launch.

II

Oberon Metrics

Analytics

Privacy-conscious measurement for regulated and healthcare-adjacent organizations — the numbers a team needs to make decisions, without collecting more than it should.

Alliance

Strategic partners

Independent firms that work alongside JUPITER BRAIN and its entities on select engagements. They are named partners — not operating entities of JUPITER BRAIN, and not held by it.

Practice

JUPITER BRAIN's reach is wider than its entity register.

Ownership

Entities held

Companies formed, capitalized, and governed under JUPITER BRAIN, each with its own leadership, its own clients, and its own accountability for delivery. The parent sets direction and holds the paper; it does not sit in the work.

Guidance

Applications & products

Mobile and web applications held or advised at the holding level, where a product's direction has to outlast any single engagement and doesn't belong inside one operating company.

Roadmap, positioning, and the decision of when to build, when to buy, and when to stop.

Alliance

Strategic partnerships

Named relationships with independent firms, formed and maintained by the parent. They extend what the entities can credibly take on without either side absorbing the other.

Counsel

Structure & risk

Entity structure, contracting posture, and delivery risk, reviewed across the portfolio rather than one deal at a time — so a decision made for one company doesn't quietly create a problem for another.

Where the judgment comes from

JUPITER BRAIN advises from experience, not from a distance. Its partners have carried projects through every stage of the lifecycle, on both sides of the contract.

Oversight at this level is exercised largely on paper: proposals, workflow diagrams, service-level agreements, technical documentation, and the budgets, milestones, and schedules that decide whether a project actually lands.
